Jets Leagues Club is proud to announce it has contributed over $304,000 back to the local Ipswich community, through cash and non-cash donations over the last financial year.  This shows the clubs dedication to giving back to our local community and something the club’s Board, and General Manager, Teresa Cavill – Jones are very excited about.

“To be able to contribute over $304,000 back into the local community is something fantastic, and is a great testament to the support provided by members that visit the club and also to the great effort shown by all of our staff each and every day.”

“The Club is very focused on providing as much support as possible to the local charities and their programs and associations seeking assistance, and the Club is indeed committed to strengthening this area of the club’s direction in the future.”

“It is with great pride that we make this announcement as we feel that any help and assistance we can provide to local schools, charities, and sporting organisations greatly benefits the community as a whole,” Teresa stated.

Ipswich Jets Rugby Leagues Club Inc is a major employer in the Ipswich region with over 60 staff and one of the initiatives of the Ipswich Jets is our School-Based Trainee program which is in its 5th year, with the club also considered a leader in the QLD club industry for implementing the program whereby local students gain on-the-job training and experience whilst completing their certificate lll in Hospitality in conjunction with Club Training Australia.    “Our School-Based Trainee Program is something we are extremely proud of.  It reinforces our support for the youth of today, which gives them an understanding of the customer service, the value of money and places them in good stead for their future endeavours in hospitality, or any career path they may choose”, Ms Teresa Cavill – Jones stated.
